9th EDITION OF THE LAC ST-LOUIS INDOOR SOCCER TOURNAMENT

The 9^th edition of the Lac St-Louis indoor tournament will be held this year, on March 26, 27 and 28 for the girls and April 9, 10 & 11 for the boys at the Catalogna Socerplexe, 775, 1st Ave. in Lachine
More than 130 teams in the A & AA from U9 to U18  and Senior  travelling from all   over the province of  Quebec,  as well as from the bordering province of New-Brunswick will be participating in this tournament.
More than 10,000 players, coaches, fans and family members will be stepping into the Lachine Soccerplexe during the two tournaments.

WELCOME AND HAVE A GOOD TOURNAMENT

FIVE ATHLETES FROM THE LAC ST-LOUIS REGION INVITED TO NATIONAL CAMPS

Rhian Wilkinson, formerly from the Lac St-Louis Lakers and now playing with the  Strømmen Team (Norvay) has been chosen to participate to the National Senior Women team's  1^st camp that will be held during 18 days in  Larnaca (Chypre).

As for Kylie Davis, Sophie Therien and Sabrina Hémond, all three formerly from the Lakers,  they have been selected   to  take part to the U17 Women  National Camp that was held in Florida from February 23^rd to 27^th.  They will also participate to the tournament  that will take place in Trinidad & Tobago from February 28^th to March 5^th.

Finally, André Hainault has been selected,  again this year, to participate to the National Senior Men's Camp.  The National Men's Team will play against Argentina in a friendly International match  next May 25^th  at the Estadio Monumental in Buenos Aires

100 Anniversary

Quebec Soccer Federation

 Within the context of  its 100 anniversary  that will be held in 2011, the QSF is presently working  on a book project relating the history of the soccer in the province of  Québec.

To carry on this project through to a successful conclusion the Federation is seeking the assistance of  the ARS and  Clubs in retracing their history since their foundation.
